Hi! Welcome to my personal website. My name is Kaia Hu, and I am currently a Master's student at Carnegie Mellon University's Heinz College, studying Public Policy Management and Data Analytics. Prior to CMU, I studied Data Science at UC Berkeley, with a minor in Geospatial Information Science & Technologies.
I am passionate about harnessing the power of data to drive insightful analysis, enabling the development of innovative policy recommendations and strategic infrastructure planning solutions for a more sustainable and informed future.
From Hangzhou, China, to Shanghai, and then California, my journey taught me to cherish our diverse and vibrant living environment: our nature, communities, and cultures. I chose to approach the world with humility and curiosity, always striving to ensure that my work creates meaningful and positive impact.
